Common Place Land Cooperative is a 432-acre, rural land trust community located in the rolling hills of central New York State. Members living here range from 1 to 80+ years of age. The history of our cooperative dates back to 1976 when this beautiful hillside of land, which rises from the north bank of the Tioughnioga River up the southern slope of Morgan Hill, was purchased by our founding member.

Members typically build their own homes upon completion of their membership process. There is an abundance of construction knowledge within the community which helps a lot. To learn more, reach out or come for a visit!
